About the backstory of Contrucci Records
Contrucci Records is created by no other than Enzo Contrucci, which already has multiple releases on the Dellusion Music Network. Together with DragunoV, he proposed the idea of the Mediterranean House genre and if it was suitable for the Dellusion Music Network. “I think it was an amazing idea”, DragunoV himself said in an interview with Dellusion Music. “The warm feeling of those holidays along the coast of Italy and Spain fits the mood for this year’s summer vibes”. Going back to basics using the famous “less is more” design principle, is something that is a core part of the Mediterranean House style.
What the heck is Mediterranean House?
Mediterranean House is a subgenre closely tied to Tropical House but includes a far more Mediterranean feel, like using certain Mediterranean instruments such as a Mandolino, Sandouri and Lyra. Using these instruments and an open mind for alternative chord progressions (so not just the I–V–vi–IV progression) you can get something so unique that you can not believe your eyes (and ears).
